The Walled City was once a place out of official control - people were living with indecent businesses of sex, gambling, and drugs controlled by triad gangs. Cheng Yuan-lung (Kwan Hoi-shan) was a Walled City gambling house boss. He left his sons Chia-chin (Kao Fei) and Chia-kang (Chien Hsiao-hou) to his friend, Chiptooth (Pai Wen-piao), when he was killed. Chia-chin grew up and kept himself away from the sins although he worked as a floor man in a cabaret. However, Chia-kang mixed with a gang of hooligans and made his classmate Mei-ling (Liu Li-ling) pregnant. Mei-ling's father, the fiery-tempered Inspector Chang (Wang Lung-wei), forced Mei-ling to have an abortion, which led to Mei-ling's tragic death by falling off a rooftop accidentally. Inspector Chang couldn't wait to take revenge on Chia-chin and Chia-kang, following unwritten underworld rules... |

It's a story about the fastest street racer of Mt Akina. Takumi, a delivery boy; Ryousuke, an engineer of speed and Kyouichi, a professional racer: the three of them become duelists of drifts. For five years, 18-year-old Takumi has been delivering tofu in his father's obsolescent Toyota AE86 every morning. Not only has he become a good racer, but he has also unwittingly perfected the art of drifting. He was never an aficionado of hill racing until he is asked by his father to drive his AE86 in a David and Goliath race against Night Kids' EVO IV. A glorious but unexpected victory awakens the competitive genes in his blood, while his overnight fame inevitably leads to hellraising races one after another, each one more perilous and exciting than the previous one. Starring Asia's hottest heartthrobs, Jay Chou and Edison Chen, Initial D is adapted from one of the most popular eponymous manga and anime series in Japan. This is the first live-action feature based on the series to ever grace the silver screen in the world. |

When the land and ocean were too polluted and became uninhabitable everyone had moved to Skyland which is a continent hovering in the air. And Oinka is the pigs' village. Amid the gloomy rains of Tokyo in July, nursery school teacher, Kyoko, takes care of the children in her charge. Recently, busy with her ongoing studies in child therapy, she hasn't had time to see her boyfriend, Naoto, an aspiring photographer. One day she decides to drop by the Chinese restaurant where Naoto works part-time to trade a little encouragement in their mutual pursuit of their dreams. No sooner does she arrive, than an eerie ring-tone plays on her cell-phone. They both recognize it as the tone that heralded the 'death forecast'call scare of the previous year. They remember the incident... the recording of one's own voice... the inevitability of the end. It's not long before gruesome death enters Naoto and Kyoko's world and it becomes apparent that the curse is not ended. Reporter, Takako, has been studying the differences between the current incident and the one of the previous year caused by Mimiko Mizu. |
