Two teenage girls are in love with the same boy in this horror comedy based on a manga by Shungiku Uchida. Monami (Yukie Kawamura) is a pretty new girl at school who quickly develops a furious crush on Mizushima (Takumi Saito), a handsome boy with charisma as impressive as his hair. Mizushima already has a steady girl, Kieko (Eri Otoguro), much to Monami's chagrin, but that doesn't stop her from giving the boy of her dreams a box of special chocolates for Valentine's Day. What Mizushima doesn't know is just how special those chocolates are --Monami is a vampire, and the chocolates are filled with blood, which sends him into a psychedelic state and turns him into a fellow creature of the night. Monami asks the newly-undead Mizushima to be her soul mate, but this doesn't sit well with Kieko, and when a fight between the two rivals leaves Kieko dead, that's not enough to stop her. Kieko's father is a scientist doing bizarre experiments in reanimation, and he resurrects his daughter using some spare body parts, turning her into a powerful warrior who goes toe to toe against the vampire who stole her man. |

Up until now, the terrifying Maneater Series has done everything from the big and scary (GRIZZLY RAGE, CROC) to the small and creepy (IN THE SPIDER'S WEB, THE HIVE). But now, for the first time in the franchise, a new kind of creature will kill, a beast that attacks the mind rather than the body and would be more aptly measured in fluid ounces than feet. Those who guessed a maliciously hallucinogenic, hyper-intelligent semi-solid would be right. No one listened when they were told the grounds on which a new conference center was to be built was toxic. Now, thanks to the mysterious goo under the premises, people are seeing things they never wanted to see, and doing things they never thought they'd do. It knows their fears, and it wants anarchy. Kevin Sorbo (HERCULES) stars in the eerie horror thriller. |

The undead are on the march in bowling alley, though they aren't aware of what's happening to them in this ambitious blend of horror and comedy. Military intelligence forces are attempting to formulate a drug that will turn ordinary soldiers into invincible killing machines, but their latest batch has far too many unpleasant side effects, and the green slime is rejected. However, by accident the stuff is shipped to a bowling alley in a small town, where sweet but un-ambitious Timmy (Michael Grant Terry) moons over Cindy (Betsy Beutler) and smart-mouthed Mike (Matthew Davis) swaps insults with former flame Vanessa (Juliana Robinson). Assuming the goo is some sort of ice cream, they wolf it down and soon turn into drooling flesh-hungry zombies. However, one of the unusual effects of the drug is that those using it are unaware of its impact, so Timmy, Cindy, Mike and Vanessa are quite puzzled as others flee in terror at the sight of them. WASTING AWAY was the first feature from director and co-screenwriter Matthew Kohnen. |

This sequel to Night of the Living Dead is filled with splattered blood and brains in living color. The dead have come back to life to eat the living. This is the story of four people's escape from an urban nightmare to a suburban one. They barricade themselves in a shopping mall and try to start new lives. Much of this movie was filmed outside Pittsburgh. In this first sequel to Night of the Living Dead, a group of four people take up residence in a deserted mall while trying to stay alive amidst the armies of the dead and a vicious gang of militant bikers. Sequel to 'Night Of The Living Dead'. It's a couple of days after the dead have started to rise and attack the shocked living and civilisation has started to crumble. In the city of Philadelphia, USA, TV station workers Stephen and Francine decide to run as the situation worsens and, after meeting Roger and Peter (two special policemen ordered to move any people into rescue stations) who have also choose to run, steal the station's helicopter, and fly away in an attempt to find a safe place. After several attempts they find a deserted mega-mall and decide to wait there until the crisis is over. They clear the mall of the undead and board the entrances up with lorries and then sit down and wait. Can they hold out, not only against the growing, moaning, and hungry masses of the undead outside, against murderous looters, but most importantly of all, can they hold out and not lose their sanity??... |

This ecology-themed horror movie took its inspiration from the success of Jaws and moved that film's man-versus-nature conflict from the seaside to the forest. The plot of Grizzly focuses on Mike Kelly (Christopher George), a forest ranger whose peaceful tenure over a forest housing a busy nature lodge is interrupted by the arrival of a very deadly and hungry 15-foot grizzly bear. As the bear starts killing rangers and campers, Park Supervisor Charley Kittridge (Joe Dorsey) tries to cover up the problem and tries to keep Kelly from acting in a way that will cause public suspicion. Finally, Kelly decides to do what is right and teams up with macho pilot Don Stober (Andrew Prine) and eccentric naturalist Arthur Scott (Richard Jaeckel) to hunt the grizzly down on its own turf. Grizzly was roundly panned by critics for its slavish, blow-by-blow imitation of its more sophisticated model, Jaws, but its gruesome shock power made it a major hit with audiences around the world. Director William Girdler followed this success up with another ecology-themed shocker in Day of the Animals, and the film's producers made a still-unreleased sequel, Grizzly II, which provided early roles for Charlie Sheen and George Clooney. |
