ONAR proudly presents the unique Turkish film adaptation of the cult italian 1966 fumetti comic, IL COMANDANTE MARK. Being 100% faithful to the comic, Captain Swing's stooges buddies Mister Blof and Sad Owl are here, along with Betty, the British enemies "Red Coats" and that skinny dog of course! The only surving print was in decent condition and now the result is surely better.
Two sisters, Su-Mi and Su-Yeon, come home after recovering from a long illness, but their new stepmother is one disturbingly odd bird. One day, Su-Mi can't find her sister anywhere. She looks all over, only to discover bloody stains on the floor...
A spin-off from the cult 1960s TV series in which Batman (Adam West) and his youthful sidekick Robin (Burt Ward) must defend not just Gotham City but the world, as his four arch enemies hold the planet to ransom with a dehydration machine which turns people to dust. The Joker (Cesar Romero), the Penguin (Burgess Meredith), Catwoman (Lee Meriwether), and the Riddler (Frank Gorshin) are the diabolical villains.
Bitter sweet show a very different side to Mitsuru Meike's filmmaking personality. This is a provocative drama about an ordinary young woman with doubts about her approaching marriage who gets involved with an older man. This is a delicately told adult love stry about bitterness and sweetness of life of Japanese cinema.
Example of 'Pink Cinema' that mixes horror with eroticism in a way that is both unsettling and genuinely original. A young couple enter a hospital after rumours that a demonic spirit known as the 'slit -mouthed woman' had been seen there. Once inside, they are possessed by an overwhelming desire to have sex and sneak off into an empty room to satiate their lusts. Then out of the darkness a perverse and dis- figured woman appears and confronts them... The Slit-Mouthed Woman, a.k.a Kuchisake, is an original hybrid of pink erotica and horror from the controversial J-sploitation director Takuaki Hashiguchi whose previous films include the disturbingly nasty Woman Prisoner Torture.
A criminal scheme gone wrong is just the start of a string of life-threatening bad luck in this darkly comic thriller. David (Andy Serkis) and Peter (Reece Shearsmith) are a pair of second-rate criminals who are eager to make a big score and think they've come up with the formula for a perfect crime. David works for a wealthy local businessman named Arnie who dotes on his teenaged stepdaughter Tracey (Jennifer Ellison), and so with the help of Arnie's slacker son Andrew (Steven O'Donnell), he and Peter kidnap the girl and demand a hefty ransom for her safe return. But Tracey puts up far more of a fight than David and Peter ever expected, and when Andrew picks up the ransom only to discover they've been given a decoy instead of cash, the would-be kidnappers have no clue what to do next. But this problem seems like small potatoes when the owner of the seemingly abandoned cottage where they're holed up unexpectedly returns -- he turns out to be a hideously deformed lunatic with a murderous temper and a bitter hatred of trespassers.
